The details below explain how delivery works, how to prepare, and what to do if something arrives damaged. Brand-specific differences appear in Brand Addenda.
1. Where we ship
- Contiguous U.S. (Lower 48): Yes
- AK/HI & international: By quote only (contact support@shoprecoveryhaus.com before ordering).
- No PO boxes.
2. Costs & methods
- Most in-stock items ship FREE via curbside freight with liftgate service in the contiguous U.S. (unless stated otherwise on the product page).
- Curbside = the carrier lowers the crated/palletized item to the ground at the end of your driveway. In-home placement/installation is not included.
- “Beyond area,” remote, ferry, or limited-access addresses may incur carrier surcharges. We’ll confirm any exceptions before shipment.
3. Processing & timing
- Processing: In-stock orders typically leave the warehouse within 1–2 business days.
- Transit: Freight transit is usually 5–10 business days depending on distance.
- Appointments: The carrier will call/text to set a delivery window. Adult signature is required.
- Pre-orders/backorders: We’ll show an ETA on the product page and update you if it changes by more than ~7 days.
4. Will-It-Fit & site readiness
To prevent re-delivery or storage fees, please confirm:
- Pathway width (most large items need 34–36 in minimum) and any stairs/turns/gates.
- Power near the final location (e.g., 120V/15A for many IR saunas; some traditional heaters require 240V—see PDP).
- Floor can support full installed weight.

5. Inspection & damage (what to do on delivery)
Freight damage is rare but time-sensitive. On delivery:
- Inspect the packaging before signing.
- If you see damage, note it on the Bill of Lading (e.g., “crate crushed / box torn, possible damage”) and take photos.
- For major damage, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
- For concealed damage discovered after delivery, email photos within 48 hours of receipt so we can file a claim.
We’ll coordinate repair, part replacement, or reshipment as appropriate.
6. Missed delivery, storage & address changes
- If the carrier cannot reach you to schedule or deliver, re-delivery and/or storage fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
- Address changes after shipment may incur carrier reroute fees.
7. Returns
- Returns vary by brand. In general, returns are accepted within 14 days on new/unused items in original packaging. Customer pays return freight; a 20% restocking fee applies; outbound freight is non-refundable.

Brand Addenda
Luxury Spas (Cold Plunge)
- Method: Freight curbside with liftgate; adult signature required.
- Timing: In-stock typically ships in 1–2 business days; transit 8–10 business days.
- White glove: Not included; carrier does not place the unit indoors or install.
- Scheduling: Carrier will call/text to set a delivery window; ensure truck access and a clear path to staging.
- Returns (summary): Unopened/unused within 14 days with RMA; 20% restock; customer pays return freight; no returns on opened/installed units or water-contact components. See policy page for details.
SunRay (Saunas)
- Method: Freight curbside with liftgate; adult signature required.
- Timing: In-stock models commonly ship in 1–2 business days; tracking provided.
- White glove: Not included. Installation typically requires two adults; traditional heaters may require a licensed electrician (240V).
- Returns (summary): Unopened/unused within 14 days with RMA; 20% restock; customer pays return freight; no returns on installed/used units or electrical components opened. See policy page for details.
